Our Work

At the heart of our organization is a commitment to listening deeply, amplifying voices, and catalyzing change. We work at the grassroots level across Southeast Asia to ensure that marginalized communities are not just heard — but empowered. Our efforts span four strategic pillars:

Storytelling & Advocacy

We believe stories are powerful tools for change. Through ethical, participatory storytelling, we help marginalized individuals share their lived experiences with dignity and agency.

Our work includes:

  • Voice Archives: A growing digital library of firsthand accounts, interviews, and photo essays from women, LGBTQ+ individuals, displaced children, and ethnic minorities.
  • Media Collaborations: Partnering with local and international media to broadcast underrepresented stories to wider audiences.
  • Policy Advocacy: Using stories as evidence to influence policies on statelessness, gender-based violence, education access, and more.
  • Campaigns That Mobilize: Running multimedia campaigns (online and offline) that raise awareness, challenge stigma, and inspire action.

Community-Based Programs

We design targeted, culturally sensitive programs that offer direct support, education, and empowerment.

Key initiatives include:

  • Women’s Empowerment Circles:Safe, peer-led spaces offering workshops on entrepreneurship, reproductive rights, financial literacy, and leadership development.
  • Mobile Learning for Stateless Children:Volunteer educators travel to underserved border regions (like Mae Sot, Thailand) to provide basic education, language instruction, and school-readiness programs to refugee and undocumented children.
  • LGBTQ+ Wellness & Identity Support:Peer counseling, gender-affirming events, and mental health resources that foster a sense of belonging and self-worth within queer communities.
  • Ethnic Minority Language & Culture Projects:Initiatives that preserve indigenous languages, support bilingual education, and celebrate cultural heritage through storytelling, festivals, and publications.

Capacity Building & Leadership Development

We believe that sustainable change comes from within communities. That’s why we invest in the leadership potential of those we serve.

This includes:

  • Youth Leadership Labs:Trainings in public speaking, civic engagement, and digital advocacy for young people from marginalized backgrounds.
  • Volunteer Mentorship Programs:A network of mentors — including activists, educators, and social workers — who train and support grassroots leaders and community organizers.
  • Community Facilitator Trainings:Equipping local volunteers with the skills to lead workshops, mediate conflicts, and facilitate inclusive dialogues in their own communities.

Cross-Border Collaborations & Research

We work across countries and cultures to build solidarity and amplify impact.

Our collaborative efforts involve:

  • NGO and School Partnerships:Working hand-in-hand with schools and nonprofits in Myanmar, Vietnam, and Thailand to co-create programs that are relevant and sustainable.
  • Government Engagement:Advocating alongside ministries and agencies to improve protections for women, children, and minority populations.
  • Participatory Research Projects:Conducting community-centered research that highlights urgent needs and informs better policy-making — always with the community’s voice at the core.
